December 2016 The Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukav. This is a very thought provoking book that explores the commonality between Eastern mystical philosophies and quantum physics. Wu Li is the Chinese expression for "physics", literally meaning "patterns of organic energy."

Along with a good dose of philosophy, I also found the author's descriptions of key aspects of modern physics to be refreshingly accessible. For example, the description of Feymann diagrams is as good, perhaps even clearer, then many modern physics textbooks I've read. I would not classify this book as "head-in-the-clouds" philosophy. Rather, the author has succeeded in bringing abstract concepts to a readable level without sacrificing essential details.
