The Glory, The Mystery, and the Tradition
by Cardinal Donald Wuerl and Mike Aquilina. This is a fairly short book (~200 pages) but packed
with good information. It's very readable, and takes the reader through the Mass (using the new English
Missal coming on 1 Advent) step by step, commenting on the history and significance of each step.
This book is aimed at the laity, not the clergy. For anyone wanting to understand better what Catholics do in Mass, and the origins of the Mass, this is a good book.
