January 2011 The Snack Thief (book #3 of the Inspector Montalbano series) by Andrea Camilleri. This was an easy and fun book to read. Once I started reading, it was was great effort that I put the book down to do normal weekend stuff. This book had a few twists, and some cloak-and-dagger stuff that made it very interesting. Cracks about the carabinieri (state police) and the Italian Secret Service are very funny, especially after having lived in Italy. In this book, Inspector Montalbano ties together two seemingly unrelated crimes together to uncover clandestine government operations and terrorists. I am definitely hooked now. I need to fin book #4.
