The Coldest Night
by Robert Ohmstead. This is the third book by this author that I've read. It's a very good story about
the grandson of Robie Childs (from
Coal Black Horse), aka the Captain, who falls in love outside of his social standing, goes off to the Korean War, fights in the battle of
Chosin reservoir, then tries to survive life after war with PTSD.
This is a compelling story and well written, but I think my favorite of this author's book is Far Bright Star.
